Description:
OGT consists of a box and an aluminum grid. The box is filled with water and the grid is at the bottom of the box. The grid is connected to an external electrical motor and the grid oscillation produce turbulence in the box. Then, we add some amount of sands and the turbulent dispersion maintain sands in suspension. This experimental set up can be used of studying suspended sediments transport and sediment suspension mechanism.
