University of New Orleans

The University of New Orleans experimental facilities are developed to investigate hydraulics and sediment transport dynamics, and the dynamics of stratification in fluvial, deltaic, and coastal settings. Facilities comprise a 22 m long, 0.8 m deep, 0.6 m wide tilting, recirculating river flume, several smaller teaching and demonstration flumes, as well as a 3 m x 4.5 m delta basin and 5 m x 0.8 m x 0.1 m upright recirculating flume currently under construction.
