Delta experiments can be performed in a portable delta basin that was on display at CSDMS 2016. The dimensions of the basin were 75 cm x 55 cm x 6 cm. On one short side was the inlet which was a through-the-wall pipe fitting of 1" diameter. On the other short side were three outlets that were connected by hoses to the sink. Hoses were adjusted to maintain sea level. This delta basin had a rigid lid which was added to force water level to a specific elevation across the delta basin. This lid was made of acrylic and was clear to allow full observation of the growing delta.
